The Leominster Sports and Social Club Ltd. is a member’s social club that occupies a prime site in the town of Leominster in Herefordshire with ample car parking for our members and users.

The Club is a ‘non profit making organisation’ in that any profits made must generally be ploughed back into the business and the Club does not have charitable status.

The Club was previously registered in accordance with the ‘Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965’ under the Mutual Societies section of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) but from 01 August 2014, following the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, we are now a ‘Registered Society’.

The FCA are the regulatory body, who register rules and oversee rule changes and provide limited liability for the Club members.

The Club committee have to submit annual accounts and an annual return to the FCA.

The Club is affiliated to the Clubs and Institute Union but is a legal entity in its own right.

We think many people would be surprised to know about the many uses that our Club is put to, providing a valuable facility for a wide cross section of the local community.

Have a look around this website and see what goes on here – we hope you find something to interest you that you may want to join in with! We welcome new members but you do not have to be a member to participate in many of our user groups.
